Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our JR Products Quick Disconnect Propane Adapter Fitting. It's a male QD by quarter inch male NPT. Now this fitting will let you create a connection point on your appliance for a quick disconnect hose. That's the end here.
And the other end does thread it. So again, you have a one quarter inch male NPT, or national pipe thread, that will screw into the female national pipe thread fitting or adapter that's sold separately. It's also great for converting a propane hose into a quick disconnect hose. Now the Model 250 quick disconnect plug snaps into those quick disconnect ports, maybe on your hose, your RV, those kind of things, and make sure it's approved for LP and natural gas. Now this is all certifications from CSA, CGA, and AGA so you can ensure it's gonna be safe to use.
So again, if you've never used these, they're pretty nice. Again, they do pair with the female quick disconnect adapters as well. And you simply just connect your propane hoses like you would an air chuck and an air hose. Those kind of natures as far as how that connects. So very nice product.
That's gonna wrap it up. Folks, I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
I have tried many times to use the removal tool but I cannot get the fittings to release from the propane block. I called Etrailer but they told me to call the manufacture. So this in my opinion is not very good customer service.

I am very sorry to hear this Vernon. Were you able to get it released? If not: A few things that usually help with these quick-connect fittings: - Make sure propane is turned off and bleed off any line pressure (light a stove burner briefly, then turn it back off). - Push the fitting in slightly first, then slide the removal tool in firmly and pull the fitting out while holding the tool in place. - Try gently twisting the fitting back and forth while pulling. - Double-check that the removal tool is the correct size and fully seated in the collar. Sometimes a little tension or leftover pressure is all it takes to keep it from releasing. If it still won’t budge after trying these steps, there may be internal damage to the fitting or block. Once again my apologies you were not given better information when you called in, please let me know if you were able to get it disconnected.
